Dual study programme – combining theory and practice
Would you rather study or do an apprenticeship?
You can combine both perfectly with a dual study programme. You can study at a university or university of cooperative education and then put your knowledge into practice at Weiss Technik.
During the practical phases, you will work independently on your own projects and quickly learn how to put your specialist knowledge into practice thanks to intensive supervision. During the dual study programme, you will receive an above-average training allowance. After successfully completing your studies with an internationally recognised Bachelor’s degree, you can continue your career at Weiss Technik.
Prerequisites
The prerequisites for a dual study programme are a general higher education entrance qualification or a university of applied sciences entrance qualification as well as a contract with a Weiss Technik company as a partner company.

Internship – get a taste and gain initial experience

Would you rather do an apprenticeship or complete a degree? Take the opportunity to get a taste of working life during a school internship.
During your internship, you can familiarise yourself with the various training occupations at Weiss Technik and gain your first practical work experience.
Holiday job – earn money during your summer holidays
Are you of legal age and would like to earn some extra money during your summer holidays?
Every year, we are looking for school and university students who are interested in a holiday job in our production areas, sometimes in shift work. The minimum duration is usually four weeks.
01 Innovative technologies
Did you know that Weiss technology makes your everyday life safer? In our facilities, we not only test cars, mobile phones, and navigation devices under the most extreme conditions but also ensure an optimum climate in data centres, operating theatres, and the food industry. With an apprenticeship at Weiss Technik, you will become an air conditioning specialist and gain an insight into technologies used all over the world.
02 Intensive support
Our trainers are always there to help you. At many locations, you will learn the practical basics together with other apprentices in the training centre before putting them into practice in the specialist departments. We prepare you for your exams and your future professional life with in-house instruction.
03 Good working atmosphere
Teamwork and a good working atmosphere are important to us. This is why our trainees regularly work on joint projects, organise the Apprenticeship Day at the Lindenstruth site, and present themselves at apprenticeship fairs at all sites.
04 Diverse development opportunities
We offer our trainees plenty of room to develop: for example, with training courses and seminars for personal development and projects that give them insights into areas outside their own day-to-day work.
