Heat it.

The resin in CFRP components requires a longer curing time under high temperatures. This applies for small and large components. At the Center for Lightweight Production Technology (ZLP) of DLR in Augsburg we placed a modern Vötsch Heating and Drying Oven with dimensions of W x H x D = 5m x 4,5m x 8,5m with an excellent temperature distribution. Among other interesting applications the oven is used for curing tests by MT Aerospace for the Booster development Arianne 6.
For tempering of thermoplastic fibre composite high temperature systems (PEEK) a 400°C system is installed also.
