Pedaling was the name of the game again at the Schunk bike tour of the Central Hesse locations. After a two-year break, 55 employees and family members took part in the traditional bike ride. The meeting point was OptoTech in Wettenberg. There, the works council had not only organized a party zone including a food station, but had also made guided tours of the plant possible: this gave the participants the opportunity to get to know the site from the inside as well.
From OptoTech, the participants set off on three tours of their choice, either the pleasure tour, the mountain bike tour or the racing bike tour, which the tour guides Jochen Schappel (Schunk Sonosystems), Marcel Messmer (Schunk Kohlenstofftechnik) and Wolfgang Emrich (Weiss Technik) had selected and also supervised. Numerous other helpers and supporters made the Schunk Bike Tour 2022 a great, cross-site experience - very much in the spirit of One Firm.
